Our charitable purpose

David’s Hand principally exists to serve men who are struggling with their mental health; hold seminars addressing men’s mental health; host educational speakers and lead conversations about mental health; offer yoga and meditation activities intended to alleviate mental burdens; and raise funds to advance these charitable purposes.

Information for donors

The Internal Revenue Service has recognized David’s Hand as exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for a contribution unless stated at the time of the donation.

Our promise to donors: We will communicate clearly about our mission, programs, and the purpose of every contribution entrusted to David’s Hand.

Governance

David’s Hand is governed by a Board of Directors in accordance with its Articles of Incorporation and bylaws. The corporation has no voting members. Its organizing documents prohibit private inurement and political campaign intervention and require remaining assets to be distributed for qualifying charitable purposes if the organization dissolves.
